According to Indeed, workers in Los Angeles are the happiest in the nation.

Indeed compiled over 10 million employer reviews on their company pages to produce their report.

According to the report, job satisfaction is most strongly correlated with the scores employees leave for work-life balance.

Workers described the following as important to being happy at their job:

  3. Culture
  4. Job security and advancement
  5. Compensation and benefits

What jobs make happy workers?

Voluntarism beats out more glamorous roles such as producer and personal assistant on the satisfaction ranking.

The best-reviewed jobs in Los Angeles reveal a diverse mix that undercuts the stereotype of the city as a place obsessed with superficial glamor.

The happiest job is “personal assistant,” while roles such as “creative director,” “production assistant” and “teaching assistant” also rank highly.

Los Angeles is ahead of Miami and San Diego with Providence RI and San Francisco closing the top five
